Roofing Awards 2025
We were proud to return as production partners for the NFRC Awards 2025, working once again alongside the brilliant team at Events Unlimited to deliver a prestigious ceremony celebrating excellence in roofing and construction.
Held at the O2 Intercontinental in London, this year’s event introduced a new layout that saw the after-party hosted in the same space as the awards ceremony. This required a shift in spatial planning, audio strategy, and lighting design—challenges we embraced from the early planning stages to final execution. Working with Events Unlimited creative direction of including a roaming band, we supported with a wireless Steadicam operator to follow the band leading the Chairman to stage.
A Bold Visual Statement
To elevate the evening’s visual identity, our in-house animation team crafted a suite of bespoke motion content designed specifically to be mapped across the five LED walls utilising Pixera media servers and over 270 Absen 2.5mm LED panels.
Lighting design from lighting designer Luke Harnett included Portman fixtures to help create a striking look were positioned between the LED segments, echoing the clean lines of our animated content and enhancing the three-dimensional visual impact. Additional flown truss lighting and our new 4m-wide LED stage steps completed a high-end stage aesthetic.
Flawless Audio & Live Coverage
With the room now doubling as an entertainment space, audio clarity was paramount. We deployed our Yamaha DM7 console and D&B V-Series PA for pristine sound reinforcement, with supplementary radio systems supporting a roaming live band throughout the evening.
Live coverage was captured via multiple BlackMagic URSA cameras, supplemented by a new addition for 2025—a wireless Steadicam operator feeding a cropped layer on the LED screens and also utilised in a post-event highlights montage.
Digital Tools Behind the Scenes
Our digital solutions team once again provided a custom pre-event registration system, tailored for the NFRC event and branded in collaboration with Events Unlimited. It featured:
- Online payment integration
- Dynamic table planning
- Automated event communications
- QR code generation and live check-in scanning
This bespoke platform streamlined guest management from invitation to arrival.
Fast Turnaround, Flawless Delivery
With limited access time, the entire production was rigged overnight—from flown PA and LED builds to lighting and camera positions—before rehearsals kicked off the following morning. Our experienced show team ensured every cue landed flawlessly during the live ceremony.
