Leadership Event 2025

When Severn Trent asked us to support again to deliver a three-day Leadership Conference for over 350 delegates a day—in their visitor centre  car park—we knew it would take every ounce of our creativity, technical expertise, and logistical skill. What began as pockets of tarmac became a fully functioning event campus: four immersive breakout zones, a main plenary, podcast festival themed catering spaces, secure access routes, and full production infrastructure — all designed, built, and delivered from the ground up.

Working hand-in-hand with a team of trusted subcontractors, we designed and executed  a slick, high-energy environment that never felt compromised. From flow planning to structure placement, power, and connectivity, every element was precision-engineered to deliver a seamless delegate experience in one of the most unconventional event settings imaginable.

Smart Design, Slick Delivery
We developed and executed the entire site infrastructure:
security, event space, catering structures, outdoor screens, power generation, site-wide WiFi, and CCTV.
 
Delegates began their day walking a section of the reservoir into an engaging opening plenary, before rotating through four themed breakout zones. The plenary was live-streamed to each breakout space  to ensure even the presenters were engaged and to keep every group in sync we utilised our bespoke session timer system.
Creative Engagement Everywhere
Each breakout zone had its own personality — designed by Severn Trent to encourage energy, interactivity, and fun. We enjoyed partnering with each group to bring each session idea really to life. From gameshow-style buzzers and Never Mind the Buzzcocks-inspired sets, to bubble tubes, water effects, and immersive props, every detail added to the sense of creativity and connection.
 
It wasn’t just about logistics — it was about creating an environment that inspired leaders to cascade the business messages and reflected Severn Trent’s values and culture to ensure authenticity.

White acted as a true extension of Severn Trent’s Comms team, supporting their vision at every step. Our flexible, solutions-focused approach ensured the event ran seamlessly, even when plans evolved late in the process.
Delegate Registration Solution

As well as the physical transformation of the site, we also designed and delivered a bespoke delegate registration platform. This included a custom-built module that automatically grouped delegates based on their internal County Cup teams — ensuring colleagues were allocated together across sessions and breakout zones. The platform seamlessly tied into our on-site digital check-in system, enabling quick arrivals, accurate headcounts, and smooth distribution of colour-coded wristbands to match each group. This integration gave both organisers and delegates a frictionless experience from pre-event registration through to arrival on site.

Delivering a conference of this scale in such an unconventional location demanded creativity, precision, and teamwork.
