Yamaha CFX Digital Piano Launch

Yamaha entrusted White Event Production to deliver the prestigious launch of their new concert grand piano, the CFX. Drawing on our experience with Yamaha’s live stream and pre-recorded events, we provided end-to-end support to create a VIP event that showcased the piano’s elegance and innovation.

Our involvement began with an extensive London venue search, focusing on acoustics to perfectly highlight the CFX’s exceptional sound. After selecting St John’s Smith Square, a venue renowned for its beauty and resonance, we worked closely with Yamaha on detailed planning and site visits. To enhance the guest experience, we designed a bespoke event registration microsite with personalised QR codes linked to elegant printed invitations.

On-site, we managed every detail of production, overcoming logistical challenges like equipment delivery via narrow steps. The stunning venue was enhanced with a tasteful lighting design to accentuate its features while maintaining the piano as the focal point. Discrete PTZ cinema cameras captured performances by world-class musicians, ensuring Yamaha had premium video content for post-event marketing.

Post-launch, we continued our collaboration with Yamaha in our edit suite, refining multi-track audio and video recordings to highlight the piano’s artistry. We delivered bespoke edits for internal use, social media, and broader marketing, complete with professional color grading and audio enhancements. Hosted on the branded microsite, these assets provided Yamaha with maximum reach, making the launch a resounding success.
