County Cup Hybrid Launch

When Severn Trent approached us to launch their new internal initiative, The County Cup, we knew it had to be something special. With a tight timeline, just a few weeks to pull everything together (and Christmas right in the middle!), we embraced the challenge and delivered an unforgettable experience for 8,500 employees across the country.

A Game-Changing Event

Inspired by the popular TV show Taskmaster, the goal was clear – create a fun, interactive hybrid event that would unite teams, foster friendly competition, and give everyone an opportunity to participate. From those in the studio to employees tuning in from home, we designed an experience that brought the energy, excitement, and laughs – the perfect way to kick off a new company initiative!

Creating a Memorable Experience
With the clock ticking, our team worked seamlessly together to bring the vision to life. We crafted a one-hour live broadcast filled with challenges, surprises, and moments of pure fun. Employees joined in to complete quirky tasks, while others engaged from home with interactive activities that kept everyone on their toes. It wasn’t just about watching – it was about being part of the action!

A Show Like No Other
The event was bursting with personality, from the fun Taskmaster-inspired set to the live-streamed challenges. Whether they were solving puzzles or taking on physical tasks, everyone had a chance to get involved. The atmosphere was electric – a true celebration of teamwork and company spirit.

Seamless Interaction
One of the highlights of the event was the Guess That Tune challenge, where the entire audience was invited to play along using silent disco headsets! As the presenters lip-synced popular songs, participants guessed the tunes and scored points for their teams. The excitement was palpable as the live leaderboard updated in real time, with everyone eager to see which team would come out on top.

Despite the tight timeline, everything came together beautifully. Our team worked with Severn Trent’s internal comms to make sure every detail was spot-on – from the fun, TV-style graphics to the smooth running of the live stream. The result was a polished, professional broadcast that kept employees entertained and engaged from start to finish.
