White Video Production was proud to partner with Severn Trent to tell the story behind a world-first: the launch of their Net Zero Waste Treatment Plant, the first of its kind on the planet.

To mark the milestone, our team produced a 45-minute documentary, premiered via global livestream—broadcast live from the heart of the site itself for ultimate authenticity.

Bringing this ambitious project to life started long before cameras rolled. From extensive research and storyboarding to working closely with multiple stakeholders, the shoot was meticulously planned. Filmed over two action-packed days, the crew utilised gimbal cameras, polecam jib shots, drones, and multi-camera operators to capture a dynamic, factory-style visual narrative—taking inspiration from TV’s Inside the Factory.

Post-production brought the story to life with a carefully crafted voiceover, a CEO piece-to-camera, and bespoke motion graphics and animations to simplify complex processes for a global audience.

The expectations were high. But thanks to tight coordination, creative execution, and an expert eye for detail, the end result exceeded all expectations—a showcase that not only documented innovation but inspired it, too.
