When Calisen approached us with a tight turnaround to deliver a high-impact leadership event, we knew the experience had to feel purposeful, polished — and uniquely designed for the senior audience it served. With little time to spare, we stepped in to deliver end-to-end production that not only met the brief but made the first major gathering of the leadership community under Calisen’s new CEO a memorable and well-received milestone.
Hosted in the Compass Suite at The Lowry — a striking space overlooking MediaCity UK — the event needed to balance bright, open sightlines with dynamic visual storytelling.
To achieve this, we delivered:
- A bespoke graphic-wrapped stage set that grounded the room visually without detracting from the architecture or daylight.
- Four large 98” LED screens, positioned and configured to ensure content was always clear and impactful, whether attendees were watching a keynote or a live panel.
- Production support from rehearsals to the live event.
- LED lighting that elevated the tone throughout the day and transitioned the room seamlessly from session to networking.
On the content side, we produced a motion-graphic enhanced opening film, using supplied assets to craft an edit that told the story of the industry, highlighted key opportunities ahead, and set the tone for what was to come.
The result was a balanced blend of visual engagement and strategic narrative — supporting the CEO’s first 100-day address to her leadership community and anchoring the day’s themes.
With limited lead time, planning and rehearsal became critical to success. We directed comprehensive rehearsals the night before, aligning AV cues, speaker timings, and transitions across the programme. This proactive rehearsal ensured that, on the day itself, the flow felt intuitive and effortless.
By managing production on the day with precision — from technical execution to timing and cueing — we enabled Calisen’s leadership to focus fully on content and audience engagement, confident in a seamless event operation.
